Miscellaneous Animations and Animated Scenes
My attempts to animate portions of scenes for practice. I usually start with a reference, usually a character or something, and try to build a scene around them.
A cyberpunk scene and the first time I've tried using the Hedge Wizard style for this genre. I started with this reference from pinterest and made by konradwerks: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/842173199057373846/
Improved version with light on the laser sword and a better, more neutral color for the wall on the right side. Not sure I did all I could with the colors here, but EDG32 continues to be a versatile palette!
Another cyberpunk scene, this time featuring a central character from art by Jeffrey Ferreira. I created the bad guys myself from scratch, though. Not 100% happy with this one because I wanted to loop those cloud banks moving and couldn't get it right.
This is the hacker girl in a scene. I think the skyline turned out better than the last scene I did.
This is with a rain animation that I'm definitely not 100% happy with. I found it really hard, actually, and need to learn more about basic animation and timing. This is 8 frames so there's too much syncing.
To me, this almost looks like a trio of companions doing their final prep for a boss fight or something. Or maybe they are about to do crimes!
