Cyberpunk Desktop Scene

This scene scales to 1920x1080 and it's the largest single scene I've ever made. I had desktop backgrounds in mind when I started so I'm not sure if I'll animate it eventually or not. For now, this is a bit of a project diary where I can show the layers and progress as I work on it. I'll also include supplemental images of objects and characters here.

This shows a street layer, a few props, and the beginnings of a facade layer for the closest buildings.

A few more details are added to the facade. The white panels are going to be holographic signs later on, but you'll notice them throughout the current progress on the piece.

Another detail layer, the most prominent addition being the "STEAM" sign on the left. That will be an advertisement for a dance club with additional effects later on.

Another subtle detail layer adds some transparency effects, mostly used as holograms and smoke.

While running laps around the scene to flesh out details, I started to come up with characters and slowly add them to the scene here and there. Each one tries to tell a story, but you can see how having a lot of characters adds something.

Been a long time since I updated and you can see there are a lot more details, an actual sky background started, and a more or repositioned characters. Still very WIP but getting there.

Almost finished now. I added a few characters, more details everywhere, and have finalized some of the larger details I'd left til now.

Large size progress update. More graffiti and detail. The last major place to add to is the top left corner.

The final, finished version, with a quick frame I whipped up. This one doesn't fit for 1080p as the sizing's a bit wonky. This is also blown up to 1000x.

This is a blown up version that should work as 1080p and includes some desaturation to lessen the visual interference the brighter version has when used as wallpaper.

Some props and characters including alternates, progress lines, and some cut content like the cargo drone.
